The Bellagio takes its name from the Lake Como town of Bellagio in Italy.
The Casino Resort has many luxury amenities such as an 8-acre lake which
lies between the building and the Strip. The lake contains fountains which
on a schedule provide a spectacular show for onlookers and pedestrians. The
display consists of dancing water fountains which consists which are
synchronized to music.
The main original tower of the Bellagio consists of 3015 rooms and has over
36 floors and is a height of 151m. To the south of the main tower is the
Spar tower which has a height of 393 ft and contains 935 rooms.
Inside the Bellagio there is the Cirque du Soleil's aquatic production O and
there is the Dale Chiluly's Fiori, which consists of thousands of hand-blow
glass flower which are on the lobby ceiling.
Gaming
The Bellagio has large gaming rooms, which have high table limits. It has a
high states Big Game which is locate in Bobbys Room, this named after Bobby
Baldwin. The states of the Big Game room often range upt to $4000/8000, are
often visited by various pros such as
Doyle Brunson or Jennifer Harman.
Fountains
The Fountains of the Bellagio are choreographed and there is a water feature
with performances set to light and music. Before the the show starts,
nozzles break the water surface and there are lights that highlight the
hotel tower turning it a red-white and blue or sometimes a purple hue. It
takes place every 30 minutes in the afternoons and early evenings, and every
15 minutes from 8pm to midnight. The show takes place in front of the
Bellagio hotel and is visible from numerous different views from the strip.
It is visible from the street and other buildings which are close by. Some
of the songs that the display is choreographed to are such tunes as Proud to
be an American, Viva Las Vegas, my Heart will go On, and Luck Be a lady.
